ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mechanical Love II is the follow up to Mechanical Love (EP). The albums take you on a journey in your mind like you have not experienced before. The composer, Jose Pimentel, is a Panama born mutli-instrumentalist who takes the journey to the next level in this second release of Mechanical Love.

Here are a few industry insiders on Retrovati's music.
Geoff Barton of Classic Rock Magazine: ". . . this recalls Vangelis or Jean-Michel Jarre."

Peter Feenstra of Real Music Live: "[the key] to the success of Jose's musical ambitions is the fact that he is a composer who works with tight musical structures and adds broadly sculptured sonic waves."

Tony Holemans of Concrete Web: "Far from being one-sided, Jose has a broad experience in music which goes from playing everything from Jazz, to Blues, to Progressive and Industrial Rock, and to composing soundtracks for just about every type of media."
