Ruud de Vries and Boris Kloek are two tenor saxophonists from Holland, both committed to jazz, rhythm & blues and nowadays popular dance music. These saxophonists teamed up for their exciting rhythm & blues band Return of Honk, a tribute to the legendary swingin' and honkin' saxophonists from the 40's, 50's and 60's.
Legendary saxophonist Herb Hardesty (famous for his performances and recordings with Fats Domino) is one of their heroes. Return of Honk covered his single 'Just a Little Bit of Everything' from 1960, renaming it 'Just a Little Bit of Hardesty', to honour mister Hardesty. After more than 50 years, Hardesty’s tune proves to be timeless!
Be sure to check out also the modern dance beat version of this tune, which was named 'Just a Little Bit' and can be found on CD Baby under the artist name 'Ruud de Vries & Boris Kloek'.
