I Corinthians: Paul's Most Contemporary Letter (3dvd - Ten 30 Minute Lectures)

by Dr. Ken Bailey

This can be called “the most contemporary epistle.” The issues it discusses are nearly white heat debates in most major denominations.

Album Notes
This book is often seen as a jumble that jumps in a disjointed way from one topic to another. After 30 years studying the subject, Dr. Bailey has discovered a very careful outline for the book which Paul claims to have composed for “all those in every place who call on the name of the Lord” (1:2).
Indeed, five essays comprise the book. These essays focus on:
The Cross and Christian Unity
Men and Women in the Family
Christians in a Pagan World
Women and Men in the Church
The Resurrection.
Clearly, the first essay and the last are a pair. The second and the fourth are also complimentary. The center focuses on “Christian and Pagan” and the center of the Letter to the Romans discusses “Christians and Jews.”

truly enlightening
I learned so much about Paul, the times, and faith. Dr. Bailey makes the Bible come alive and shares information and insights that are truly remarkable. I can't recommend this series enough. Do download his study aid - it is invaluable.
