About Rob Hawkins
"Rob Hawkins" is an exceptionally talented entertainer residing in Music City. He's "A seasoned entertainer that you won't soon forget!!!!" Raised in the humble Appalachian Mountains with music all around him, Rob Hawkins spent his youth forging a musical identity in the fires of God-fearing churches, tent revivals and all-night-singings. Born into a musical family with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, his artistry is a reflection of real-life. Blessed with a voice somewhere between heaven and hell, he's an entertainer that delivers songs with a "been there done that" attitude that draws in a crowd and holds their attention moving them from the edge of their seat rising to their feet to see what he'll do next. "I've always been able to entertain, even in the toughest crowd full of skeptics...making the people into believers....that I belong on the stage and they are caught in the crossfire. "A train jumping a roller coaster's track, digging up the deepest musical roots" best describes the incendiary, gift wrapped, concoction of music like drinking a moonshine milk-milkshake of emotion. "I grew up on the wrong side of the river you could skip a rock and hit Kentucky where a bunch of my musical heroes cut their teeth." Although sports ruled and kept the boys off the streets and out of trouble. Rob, bucked the system and joined his first band in high school, went to college in Kentucky, toured in bands, evnentually moving to Nashville to write and record his music. "He grabs his guitar, steps up to the microphone, bears his soul, and this compelling artist goes somewhere else inviting you to take the journey with him to a higher destination.

I Love This CD it is so REAL to Who Rob is. It is Life in a Nutshell Alittle bit of slow a little bit of fast but most of all it is so smooth and clean sounding ... It says what most of us feel but are affraid to say .. I Like the fact that Rob was not going to sit back and do an average joe CD putting his Heart and Soul in every Note ....Love it... Live It.... making every note REAL Just like Life .... nothing was held back Great CD five stars for me
