ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Personal Message from Rheannon:

First off, thank you for visiting my CD Baby page! I hope you love the music! This album was written in Flathead Valley Montana, and on Interstates across the US of A while trucking with my husband. It was inspired greatly by love and relationships, through thick and thin, and having a good 'ol time on Montana back roads. I hope you can feel the rush of adrenaline in "Dodge Goes" and the painfully true story of unfailing love in "With You".
"Out Late & Reckless" was recorded at Fun House Studios in Nashville TN with some of the most incredible musicians I have ever had the privilege of working with or hearing. What a ride!
I've included a bio for those of you who want to know more about me as an artist. It is my honor to serve you! Kick back, relax and enjoy the OL&R album!!!

Dream Big, Work Hard,
Rheannon

Artist Bio:

For more than ten years, Country Rock and Christian Contemporary artist Rheannon has been performing her original music across the United States inspiring church-goers and country music fans alike. Her recent move into Country Music has been a natural one for this 6th generation Flathead Valley Montana girl. "Country music is life’s songs. There’s so much to connect with and share! It means different things to different people, and that’s why I love it.”

Rheannon grew up in the Flathead Valley and graduated from Flathead High School in 2006, having achieved awards in vocal performance and guitar throughout her high school career. She continued taking lessons after graduating. Rheannon digs deep into her Montana roots and travel experience for inspiration. “I grew up next to railroad tracks. I have those steel tracks embedded in my soul-adventure, the horizon…the beckon of life beyond just calling me out there.” She thrives on traveling with her husband, Jeremy, who inspires a multitude of country lyrics. Trucking across the USA gives her fuel for the fire of her creativity. She writes about life, love, faith, travel and patriotism. Rheannon also draws upon the experiences of others she meets and befriends, writing songs that speak directly to and for them, connecting with them in a very unique and personal way.

Getting her musical start in the church on worship teams, Rheannon says that her faith and musicality are strongly centered on her Christian upbringing. “I have always known that music and vocal performance was what I wanted to do with my life. No doubt about it; from the time I was old enough to say the word ‘sing’, that’s just what I have done. It’s as if I was born with a song on my lips and a guitar in my hands, designed and destined to do this. It is my passion.”

Rheannon plays a beautiful 314 CE Taylor that she has affectionately named “Montana Dirt”, or just “Dirt” for short. The guitar even has its own self-titled song by Rheannon, complete with a YouTube video, named the same. “I figured I needed a guitar that represented my roots. Dirt does just that. She’s beautiful and goes with me everywhere, like my country home.” She also enjoys her deep colored ebony wood Washburn guitar, "Ebony," calling it her faithful friend. She purchased it from her guitar instructor when she was 18. Rheannon plays Djembe, Cajon and Keys, though she admits keys are not her first instrument. “Don’t ask me to play anything fancy on them!” she laughs, “I’m a chord player dreaming of being more…lessons anyone?” Her new favorite instrument is a Ukulele she named “Cory.”

In 2013 and 2014 Rheannon competed in the Flathead local leg of the nationally known Texaco Country Showdown. Performing with a band her first year, and as a solo artist her second, Rheannon took one of two first place allotments in the Flathead Valley, sponsored by local country music station, “The Bear.” She then advanced to the state level competition in Great Falls, MT, where she was runner-up. “Talk about fun! I got to work with great musicians and technicians the whole time. There were 1200 people at the Majestic Valley Arena on competition day, and an esteemed panel of 4 judges. That was a dream and life-goal achieved for me. I had always wanted to perform at the Majestic. Someday I’ll be back there, but with my own show, making my local folks proud.”

Now, Rheannon is launching her career full – time, playing shows locally and internationally. She has earned some recognition for it, too. A Flathead Valley local newspaper called “The Flathead Beacon,” recognized Rheannon as holding “one of five new favorite local albums.” She was also awarded third place in “Best of the Flathead” for ‘Best Local Musician,’ in company with first place winner John Dunnigan and second place holder Tommy Edwards.

Of her shows, Rheannon says she likes to create moments with her audience, and do more than just play good music… “When I play somewhere, I want people to remember me. I love having fun with folks at a concert or venue. Playing music for people is my favorite thing. Nothing lets you speak to the heart and soul of a person like music does, except love, and that is what I write about.”

Rheannon is a lover of the outdoors, dogs, cooking, and fitness. She enjoys traveling with her Husband all over the U.S. as well as internationally. She and her Husband Jeremy live in Kalispell, Montana.
