ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
NTH Volume Two

This album consists of five solo single-take improvisations recorded in the summer of 2017.

If NTH Volume One is about heartbreak and ghosts, then Volume Two is about life after near-death. It's about resurrection through destruction, solitude, desire, and understanding. The tracks are named for cards from the Major Arcana in Tarot:

1. XVI: The Tower (Baritone saxophone no mouthpiece + electronics)

2. IX: The Hermit (Soprano saxophone no mouthpiece + vox + electronics)

3. XVIII: The Moon (Soprano saxophone no mouthpiece + vox + electronics)

4. II: The High Priestess (Baritone saxophone no mouthpiece + vox)

5. XVII: The Star (Baritone saxophone with traditional setup + electronics)

This album is for everyone. I thought I was a mountain, but I'm a fucking volcano. So are you. Let's keep going forward.

Love and Respect,
RT

Special thanks as always to Ron Stabinsky and Jack Sterbis.
