Album Notes
Rhythm Road is a Berks County quintet led by singer/songwriter JoAnn Morrell. JoAnn sings lead, accompanying herself on guitar or fretless bass and is joined by her husband Ernie Morrell on keyboard and harmonica, Mike Fleming on saxophone, Amy Forsyth on violin and backing vocals and Chuck Manzella on drums, percussion and backing vocals. “Rhythm to Burn” is the band’s first release and includes eleven original songs.

Rhythm Road’s shows are a wonderful combination of JoAnn’s originals and favorite songs by other artists, including jazz standards, blues, fiddle tunes, folk and popular songs. They recently had their CD release concert at Godfrey Daniels, the renowned folk club in Bethlehem, PA.
