Album Notes
May 23rd, 2017, was just another Tuesday evening in Seattle, and Ricardo and Friends had an amazing and wonderful night playing for the benefit of a local charity called Teens in Public Service, a wonderful organization dedicated to teaching young people the value of public service. You can learn more about them at www.teensinpublicservice.org.
This new album, Live at the Church, was recorded in an actual church sanctuary, now being re-made into a world-class recording studio on Capital Hill in Seattle. The real beauty of this recording is hearing a remarkable band play and improvise generously, as they weave their stories together through these tunes. Their music style ranges from jazz to blues, americana to Hawaiian…
