ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Our band, The Final Mile, loves all types of music but leans towards the sounds of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s Rock and Roll, and Blues and Country Western styles. People like Charlie Parker and Elvis, Chuck Berry, The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Willie Nelson , T-Bone Walker, B.B. King and Robert Johnson all had a great effect on our playing and songwriting. Expect to dance and have fun when our group, The Final Mile, performs. The band is tight. We practice to get it right. My vocals have to be on pitch or else I won’t sing the song. Too often a group focuses on the instruments but fall short on voice. Every set we introduce one or two original songs. Our set list is always changing. The next time you hear us will be different from the last gig. It keeps us all fresh.
