Doing it Richard's Way
Absolutely FANTASTIC new release from an artist who just keeps getting better and better. His warm and distinctive sound doesn't just happen overnight. It's been worked on and crafted for decades . It really shows on this latest recording. Highly recommend for ALL Blues and Jazz lovers.....

Blues by a Jazz Master
For years I have been a fan of Richard's jazz playing. As a guitarist, Richards melodies and phrasing and feel are up there with any of the jazz greats you can think of. What blew me away about this album is his approach to blues music! Some jazzers think of the blues as three chords and one pentatonic scale, but with this album Richard shows the connection a real musician can make between jazz and blues. His playing and singing on this set is both sophisticated and funky and direct. Check out "Midnight Train" for a strong groove and in the pocket playing and check out Royal Palms At Night for soulful and elegant solo guitar.

First Rate
I really enjoyed listening to Richard performances. Superb tone and phrasing. I especially liked Beacon Street.
Mr. Leach captures old school styles to the max. He plays with such style and taste. I own several of his CD and consider myself a fan! Looking forward to more of his records. Phillip Metzger
