Album Notes
On this new CD, RpT writes songs from a wide variety of perspectives. From the fun and drive of RIDING ON A TRAIN & RETIREMENT BLUES, to the more soul searching songs like DENIAL and LOOK AT MY HANDS, Richard draws the listener into the caring side of his world. The other songs explore a wide variety of ideas and musical genres. VIOLETA, written in memory of Chilean Songwriter and Artist Violeta Parra, draws on RpT's deep feelings after watching the movie about her life called "Violeta Goes To Heaven". The title song, SALADO, tells the story of a stagecoach driver on his last trip home. The deeply rooted history of his home town of Salado has inspired this epic song.

So open a bottle of your favorite beverage, light some candles and prepare to enjoy SALADO!
