Album Notes
Throughout his long career in healthcare and mental health, Dr. Schaub has met many professional colleagues who are seekers. These professionals look out beyond their own field for any insights and practices that can help their patients and clients. They are open to the discoveries of mystics, meditators, and spiritual teachers, and wonder how to bring this work into the hospital, clinic, school or business. Dr. Schaub has been offering this integrative work for thirty-five years, and this series of CDs gives you the basic experiences and skills to explore these mind-body-spirit methods for yourself.

This is the first of a three CD collection. It combines meditations with serene meditative music and gives you a companion and guide for discovering the inner peace already present in your nature. Cultivating Inner Peace brings an inner strength and confidence into your daily life.

Dr. Schaub has taught in settings as diverse as Wall Street firms, international medical conferences, psychotherapy training institutes, schools, universities, and Veterans Administration hospitals. His own meditative training, beginning in 1970, includes mindfulness, imagery and visualization practices, qigong, and the transpersonal psychology of psychosynthesis. He is director of the Huntington Meditation and Imagery Center and the New York Psychosynthesis Institute and is guest faculty of the Istituto di Psicosintesi, Florence, Italy. He has written five books on mind-body-spirit development, the most recent being Transpersonal Development: Cultivating the Human Resources of Peace, Wisdom, Purpose and Oneness. A father and grandfather, he lives in the New York City area and is married to his wife, Bonney, for fifty years.
