Album Notes
A celebrated and beloved children's entertainer and music teacher, Richard Younger has a life's work of performing and recording. From pop '80s band Treble Boys, to his acclaimed solo LP, "Blue Horses," and trio of children's releases in the new millenium, Richard has tried to stay true to his belief that music is a universal and healing power. This cool collection of eight winter/holiday songs has been a long time a-comin'. "I've carried most of these songs for several decades," says Richard. "Several of them I learned in my earliest days of performing: Shakespeare's "Blow Blow Thou Winter Wind," "Streets of London," and "Log Cabin Home in the Sky," from the Incredible String Band."

From folk to the rockin' feel of Jesse Winchester's "Snow," to the stark blues of Lonnie Johnson, this collection showcases Richard's warm vocals, the keyboard and production talents of Marty Dunayer (who sparked the collection by generously providing the studio time), the guitar excellence of Larry Lebin, as well as the efforts of producer Trevor Bowen and mastering Pete Macnamara.
