Kay Swift's SAGEBRUSH LULLABY is a perfect duet for Rich Flanders and Celia Berk, blending their shared love of popular American songs with Flanders' Western sensibility.

Swift was the first woman to write the full score of a Broadway musical. She was also known for her personal and professional relationship with George Gershwin. After he died, she left New York and married a rodeo cowboy. Her memoir of that time became the movie "Never A Dull Moment" with Irene Dunne and Fred MacMurray. SAGEBRUSH LULLABY was written for the film, but only a fragment was used. Now this charming song -- its Western style informed by a Gershwinesque urban blues -- can finally be heard.

Flanders' first CD, Yondering, received The Will Rogers Cowboy Award. His second album, Ride Away, received nominations from The Academy of Western Artists and The Western Music Association. Berk's first solo album, You Can't Rush Spring, is arranged and conducted by Alex Rybeck and co-produced by Tony Award-winning sound designer Scott Lehrer.

Together, Flanders and Berk perform DOUBLE STANDARDS, a program of duets and personal favorites. Highlights are available on iTunes and at
