Album Notes
Here's the deal. I was born a poor white child (just like everybody else)in the Appalachian Mountains of Southeastern KY. My folks moved to Ohio when I was two years old. Somewhere around the age of eight years old I became severely addicted to music. My father liked bluegrass and country, my mother liked rock and the pop music of the day. The one musical style we all agreed upon was the blues. What I'm doing now both in the studio and live is playing what comes naturally to me, that being a fusion of all the styles mentioned above. My music fits in whatever category, you decide.

This white boy knows the blues!
Heard many of the cuts on this CD at a gig RHBH performed last year at a Chrysler Block Party event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. I loved their set, talked to Rick afterwards and got the CD right there. I never tire of hearing these songs - Rick and his band have a tight, straight-ahead rock/blues sound which wraps you in and keeps you going with inventive, soulful riffs from Rick and a great rhythm section. Get this disc - you won't regret it.

Listened to it for hours and love it!!!!!!!!
I've been listening to Rick since he was about 14 yrs old and it's wonderful to see how his talents have evolved. I love the blues and love this great talent. Would like to see them perform in Atlanta.
This CD is great.
