Album Notes
This song is a story about greed and just who's country we live in. Inspired by the victims of greed crimes and by the gifts of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. It's a medley of my lyrics (verses 1-7) and verses from This Land Is Your Land (8-12). Vocal - Rick Hart, Fingerstyle Guitar- Duane Brown.

Dedicated to Artie at "The Lodge", who around 1980 gave me the book Woody Guthrie: A Life, by Joe Klein. Thank you, Artie. Sorry it took me so long. I'm writing songs for my Woody Guthrie tribute album, and your book is the cornerstone. Can't thank you enough. - Rick
