Album Notes
The first solo album from Maple Mars and Ruby Free frontman Rick Hromadka. A year in the making, this solo "pet" project has been handled with care! Channeling some of his DIY heroes like Paul McCartney, Todd Rundgren, and even Prince, Rick plays every instrument on this album - including drums. Channeling the likes of those heroes Rick has tried to take his music a step further, creating a psychedelic rock/pop soundscape. Heavy improvisation helped bring the song ideas together during recording.

Rick's last release in 2012 "Introducing Ruby Free" received great reviews and was in regular rotation on about 50 college radio stations across the country. Rick ended up signing a song placement deal with 5 Alarm Music/Rescue Records for TV and film. Rick Hromadka's other band Maple Mars has had similar success, and Rick's side business of writing music cues has landed him placements on shows like True Blood, Friday Night Lights, ER, Thirdwatch, as well as Reality TV programs like The Great Race, Dog The Bounty Hunter, and Say Yes To The Dress. Hell, he even wrote songs for The Power Rangers TV show and feature film way back in the day!

Reviews from Maple Mars' Galaxyland -
"A psychedelic masterpiece" - Twirl Radio

"Best Album Of 2011" - Bill Kopp (Musoscribe)

"Cool, totally catchy modern guitar pop. Maple Mars is the band spearheaded by Rick Hromadka...a fellow with a genuinely cool knack for turning a tune." 5 out of 5 Stars! - (LMNOP.com)
