ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rick James sophomore release "With Empty Hands" is a stylistic departure from his 1st CD "Workin' On Commission". James, a youth and music pastor from Springfield Ohio, recorded this project on a home recorder and played all of the instruments and sang every vocal on every track but one (God Does Impossible Things). From the 70's sounding funk rock song "Everything Must Go" to the piano driven title track "With Empty Hands", Rick has grown deeper musicially and theologically expressing songs of testimony, praise, and even comedy on the bluegrassy church Satire "We Lost The G". This album is a must have for fans of Independent Christian Music.
