Album Notes
Continuing with his upbeat positive nature Rick Lally has released his CD entitled ‘Down In Jamaica’.
The CD starts out with his upbeat love song ‘She’s My Sunny Day’. Track two is the CD title song ‘Down In Jamaica’. The third song ‘Now’s The Time For Love’ is a love song written to the world instead of to an individual. Rick’s fourth song on the CD called ‘Die Laughing’ has its own universal appeal. The fifth song ‘Say Yeah’ is another attempt to reach people and find a common bond. The sixth song is an old rock some Rick dusted off from his archives and added it to the Down In Jamaica CD.
Here’s what a few other artists and fans say about Rick’s music:
Love this fun, sunny vibe. The lyric goes well with the whole vibe!
She's My Sunny Day has such a bright melody and arrangement. Great tune!
Love your new song Down in Jamaica. You have such a unique, great voice. Well done!
Really enjoying your great tracks. Superb music!
Wonderful, "feel good" music. A breath of fresh air!!
I like the feel of raggae in your music.
I'm totally impressed. Awesome work on the acoustic guitar and great songwriting.
Losing myself in your songwriting and lyrics Rick...you have a grammy in your future. I can hear it :-) Awesome work!
Let’s hope that last one was right! Rick considers himself more a songwriter than a performer. He’d like to get his music in front other artists and performers, but Rick will always be writing and performing in some fashion. He’d rather have someone else perform one of his songs at the Grammy’s!
