ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I was sitting in the den laughing and singing out loud these weird background sounds . My son was peeping around the corner at me. He looked really concerned about his dad. I was having big fun singing these funny Christmas songs. Finally I cut a demo on them and thought I would get some feedback from my friends. Three days later I got a call from a local radio station WLRH FM 89.3. The DJ said he heard it from a friend and he had a program that it would fit right into. The show was called,” The Invisible City”. I was embarrassed.

Shortly after I got a call from a local theater group inviting me to perform the songs live in a Christmas presentation called, “The Peep Show”. I was laughing . The theater was named the Flying Monkey Theater. I figured it had to be a cool place with a name like that.

Of all my years around theater, this was the absolute most creative show I had ever seen in Huntsville Al. The whole show was about giving Santa Claus and Christmas Time HELL! It was really funny, people loved it. It sold out . I was invited back again the following year, 2012 to do the same songs. This year, 2013, I heard that the show had been canceled or at least they didn't invite me in to play in it. I was let down by that cancellation, But I used my disappointment as inspiration to do this “Snowed In” project.

I want to thank all those crazy folks at that theater building and the entire artist group in the Lowe Mill Art Building for giving the city so much color. I also want to thank my buddy, Hal “Eugene Hanks “for helping me to produce this record. And thank you all for listening. The DJ " Brad Posey " that found it.. I hope you enjoy my “Christmas Peep show.”Snowed In “Leave a review or comment below! Thank You “BrothaRic Patton”.
