Album Notes
The songs on this album are examples of some of the timeless love songs written during the 1930's to the 1950's. They came from the minds of some of the greatest song writers of the 20th century. The writers had the task of putting out beautiful melodies and lyrics during times when America was going through many tumultuous issues such as, coming out of a world war, facing extremely difficult economic times, and facing the threat of a second world war. Even with all this, the song writers came out with beautiful music filled with hope, joy, and love that remains as pertinent today as it was then.
These songs are beautifully performed by Rick Moon, a former professional Opera singer, who has sung as a leading man in Operas throughout the United States and Italy. And are accompanied by the extremely talented professional Pianist Douglas Fentiman.
