Album Notes
Come “Spend the Night” With Rick Rocker, Musical Giant and Future Rock Royalty

Born and raised in New York City, Rick Rocker is ready to bring energy and meaning back to rock and roll with the music video for his first single “Spend the Night.” Rocker, a singer and guitarist who writes all of his own songs, draws inspiration from classic pop/rock artists like Bon Jovi, Green Day and U2. Like those artists, the sound that he is generating is big and catchy as hell and “Spend the Night” is all that and more.

At the age of 22, Rocker is a young, fresh-faced newcomer who is only now just starting to make his mark on the New York music scene. He has been playing non-stop since he started, rocking out for packed houses and rave responses at local NYC venues like The Bitter End, Kenny's Castaways, The Studio Webster Hall, The Shillelagh Tavern, The Duplex, and many others. His first demo was recently given four stars by The Aquarian Weekly.

For Rocker, it’s gotta be real. It’s all about the music and sending a message. That message will be made loud and clear when he debuts his first full-length album in April 2014. After that, Rocker will be taking that message to the streets with his first tour. For now, a little taste of what is on the horizon can be found in the hooks and heart of that album’s first single and music video “Spend the Night.”
