Album Notes
This album almost wrote itself. Sometimes it seems like all work and no play writing songs, but this time the songs came to me almost effortlessly. The album reflects a lot of influences in my life, but it revolves around the song "America (Red, White & Blue)", a track that I felt almost compelled to record. Today, it's hard not to realize the extreme cost of war and the incredible sacrifices soldiers and their families make in protecting our freedoms. I can't wait to perform that song live. "I'm Movin' On" really captures a moment in time and lets me celebrate the unconditional love of our dog, Ripley.

Those of you familiar with my history know that for 40 years, I've been an Elvis tribute artist. This year, I received a lifetime achievement award at the inaugural HEART OF THE KING Awards for Elvis Tribute Artists at the Las Vegas Hilton for my work. And "Living Elvis' Life" really captures the thrill of that recognition for me.

I could go on, but I really hope you can enjoy these songs without my rattling on any longer. But please let me know what you think! And thanks for stopping here to check this out!

A special thanks to Kurt Larson for his help on engineering this album, as well as his work on drums, bass (listen to the stand-up bass!), horns and backup vocals. And THANK YOU to my muse, my wife, my pal, Terri, who help me on the lyrics pf several of these songs, as well as taking the pictures on the album cover. And finally, a humble thank you to Almighty God and Jesus Christ for the gift of these songs. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
