Originally released in 1992, RICK AROUND THE ROCK sold over 10,000 copies on cassette. In fact, so many families wore out their tapes from repeated listening that we felt we had to release it on CD! The whole family will enjoy these 11 lively songs combining music and warm-hearted humour.

MY FAMILY is a celebration of families in all their vibrant diversity.

ELEPHANT RIDE takes us to Thailand for a ‘rumble through the jungle’ singalong.

How do you spell Canada? C-eh? N-eh? D-eh?
EH CANADA is a cheeky fact filled anthem celebrating Canada’s most famous syllable.

MECHANIC OF LOVE imagines a super hero who fixes the world with kindness.

I GOT MONEY imagines the good we could do if one of us won the lottery.

THREE SHIPS is a lilting singalong lullaby.

KOOL SCHOOL is a walkalong song for sidewalks, gymnasiums and corridors.

YO MO CONCERTO is Rick’s most requested song around the world: a hip hop tribute to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Featuring excerpts of Mozart’s music and the unforgettable chorus:
‘Yo Mo, come on Amadeus, what you gonna play us?’

FRYPAN SAUCEPAN contains the recipe for a homemade band right in your own kitchen.

UH OH! TA DA! Is a comfort song for days when things aren’t working out quite like you planned.

TATATATAMI is a farewell song until next time.

Beloved Hong Kong children’s entertainer Harry Wong loved RICK AROUND THE ROCK so much he translated five of its songs into Cantonese and based a CD and stage show on them. Harry and Rick toured Hong Kong and Canada with THE 5 ELEMENTS in 2004-5.

"Rick Scott educates with such an entertaining flair
that kids won't mind that they're learning." - Chicago Parent

"Canada leads the world in children's music and Rick Scott sits right on top. Rick's music speaks to kids and their parents and to me. It's delightful, educational, accessible and innovative. It's funny, clever and warm. It's not only important to Canadian music--it's essential." - Jurgen Gothe, CBC Disc Drive
