ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From the Texas honky-tonks in the 1960s to the modern day ways of making music, this CD has it all. Rick Sikes, a veteran Texas musician, spent his entire lifetime writing and making music. After a fifteen year stay in Leavenworth Prison for a crime he did not commit, he put his guitar away and traded his neon dream for a hammer and paint brush. He went about the business of raising a family - a second chance at life, at freedom and love. But, he returned to making music in 2000 and over the years brought his family along with him on the journey.
His wife, Jan Sikes, became quite the songwriter in her own right as you will hear on this album. And, their daughter, Deva, has the voice of an Angel, as you will also hear on this album.
You are in for a treat if you love Country/Americana music!
