Ron and Leticia Rippy form two partnerships. The husband and wife duo are also known as The Rippys, the Los Angeles based music duo that throws out distinctions between spiritual and secular music and writes from a diverse well of influences. Their debut CD, Lost and Found, seeks what all people seek: meaning, purpose, fulfillment and love.

What stands out most about the Rippys is Leticia's voice, the Rippys vocal blending and the variety of the songs themselves.

Claming influences such as The Beatles; Ella Fitzgerald; Elton John; Billie Holiday; Al Green; Mariah Carey; Out of the Grey; Stevie Wonder; Gordon Lightfoot; First Call; Seal and others. It has been said that the Rippys have a sound that is somewhere between Fleetwood Mac, Heart and James Taylor and someone once quipped that they were keen to here their rendition of 'Sweet Baby Tusk'! What do they sound like? They are Fleetwood Mac for a new generation. The feel is early Chicago and James Taylor moody but more complex. Reminiscent of Paul Carrick, Wilson Phillips, Amy Grant, Lindsey Buckingham, Heart and Steven Curtis Chapman yet fresh and new melodies and lyrics that are sublime.

The theme of Lost and Found presumes that "everyone is looking for something". Songs crafted to tell stories of Seeking ... and Finding. Seeking meaning, purpose, fulfillment ... love. Most songs describe that search; someone looking for something. Some songs are about finding." The project was approached as a vehicle for each song to give life to each with it's own sound ... "the sound it wanted to have". Lost and Found begins laid back, but it is soon apparent that there are insidious rhythms in the mix.

The Rippys are excited to share the music of their hearts with others and the world, so, please tell your closest 10,000 friends!
