A great listen!
I became a Topol fan because of Jack Johnson and this cd is similar in that it transports you to another place when you listen to it. The traditional percussion and vocal rythm of Cuba is really a breath of fresh air from the soulless pop music of America. Definetly recommended!

Beautiful
This is truly a beautiful piece of art. It goes beyond entertainment and into a realm that effects the listener deeply. Each song can be appreciated like a fine painting or cigar. To own something like this for so little money is a real gift.

Complex, challenging, very satisfying
Perfect distillation of the unique African, Spanish, and Amerindian sounds of the Caribbean. Complex, challenging tunes, all of which sound hauntingly familiar, as you realize just how many styles such music influences. Now give me a Polynesian collection!
