ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born and raised in the Bay Area, in Hayward, CA, R'Jaii is both a dancer and an artist that brings a unique yet universal sound to your speaker. R'Jaii started singing at around 4 years old and became interested in dancing around 11 but really started to hone his craft around 15 taking shape as the artist he is today. That growth as a singer was influenced by other artists like John Legend, Musiq Soulchild, Luther Vandross and Chris Brown, pulling inspiration from many genres. This EP is an infusion of R&B mixed with notes of Jazz, hip-hop and soul providing a musical experience that feels both modern and old school. R'Jaii paints an intimate picture of the feelings one goes through when in love. Taking from personal experiences, the vocals on this album depict the vulnerability and excitement that comes with meeting someone new as well as the heartbreak and betrayal that is felt when you know that relationship is over. Urban yet soulful, this will be an album that you can relate to if you have ever been in love and make you reflect on the good and the bad times you had with H3R.
