ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Changing Lanes is the debut album of the Persian-German band ROAR, located in Munich, Southern Germany. The four band members formed the group in 2006, after having experimented in various band formations since they initially met in a student dorm four years earlier. Recordings and artworks for the album "Changing Lanes" started in 2008, with the help of several independent music-oriented startups in the greater Munich area. The official release of the album was on Oct. 22 2010.
The sound of the band is influenced from several different categories. The basic rock theme of ROAR, underlying most of the songs, displays in tracks like the powerful pacifist anthem "Not My War" or the dancefloor smasher "Disko". Straight disco beats are part of the pack (e.g. Slipstream), just like groovy beats with hip-hop elements and catchy melodies that'll stick in your head (e.g. The Grooviest Persian).
Get ready for ROAR's first album and stay tuned for upcoming releases!
