Album Notes
New Way Home is Rob's second solo release. This recording finds him singing brighter than on the first record, finding his full voice as a frontman. Rob has been the keyboardist / right hand man for Peter Frampton the past 11 years, as well as being a top musician and singer in the classic rock world for many years, working with virtually everyone on classic rock radio, from Steve Cropper to Five For Fighting and everyone in between!
His music has been labelled, "blue eyed soul", encompassing Rock to R&B...all with soul and emotion.
Honest, upbeat and groovin', to anyone who's heard good music before, they'll dig this shit...

New Way Home to L.A.
This CD was an awesome companion as I crossed the USA driving from Miami to L.A. There are probably only five albums where I never ever had to change songs and finally this is another one. It basically played as an endless loop. "Sing For You" popped out and made me groove and swing to a delicious sound. The next three were beautiful and then came a sweet tune to show the versatility in this songwriter with "Painted Sky". "Home Sweet Home" is an excellent follow up and the rest of the songs fell into place like a divine musical waterfall. The last song was exactly describing my journey as I too was headed on my "New Way Home". Great voice, great writing! Thank you.

You Need This Album!
This album is a body of work. You can't just listen to one track, because the first track draws you into the next one. This is a terrific record! The production is stellar, the sound is clear, and the tunes are programmed perfectly. I've been listening to New Way Home in the car for five days, which for me is about ten times through the album. It's still fresh! If you like Steely Dan, or The Impressions, or John Sebastian, or The Boss, you 'do' need this record! 'Rob's' boss on the road is Peter Frampton, who also makes an appearance (I still remember Peter's concert at Hyde Park a long time ago). Rob is a musician's musician, multi-talented, dedicated to his art, and always in the pocket! For me, records that 'last' in my mind, always make me smile. This album makes me smile a lot!

Long awaited and so worth the wait!
Being a huge fan of Anywhere but Home, I was eager for Rob's new release. The wait is finally over and his new music is the perfect combination of feel good, grab a cuppa coffee, or a glass of wine, kick back and relax, get lost in the vocals, and the melodies. I highly recommend this gem, as a companion to his first cd.

Well, Once again I am in awe.
I grew up on all types of music. Most of them weren't by choice. I was listening to Rob's CD thinking, "Which is going to be my GO TO track". Then I realized, there isn' a GO TO track. The whole CD is a movement in emotions, feelings, attitudes and great grooves. Once again, Rob Arthur has proven that music overcomes many things, but most of all, it helps us to make one step away from the human condition, and find that special place we all have in us someone, where music creates camaraderie and can break down all moods, attitudes, stress and even put a smile on your face. Well done, Rob!!!

Great mix of Tunes
I've been listening to this CD for a week now and it keeps on getting better and better. I really like the variety of music Rob chose for this CD. There are so many great songs and I find myself singing along and looking forward to the next tune. Really easy to listen to and enjoyable.
I have seen Rob perform several times the past few years with Peter Frampton and it is apparent how much he loves his job. I look forward to seeing him tour on his own in the future.
