Album Notes
Big Red Truck is a compilation of songs that will make you feel...The title song, Big Red Truck" especially, will make you wonder. It's been played on NPR (Car Talk) and was recently featured in the daytime soap "The Young and the Restless." Robbie's songs are sensual, thoughtful and melodic. She was a staff-writer for Warner Chappell Music in New York, wrote for Disney music and film, co-wrote songs with the legendary Doc Pomus (Save The Last Dance/This Magic Moment), has toured the east and west coast with the Robbie Kaye Band. Based in Los Angeles where she now performs and writes.

?Poetry to music. ?Music to poetry. Either way , a beautiful CD . Mostly songs dealing with unique and personal life experiences , performed with sensitivity and passion. You want to keep replaying the songs, because with each repetition you gain some more insight (as with all good poetry).\"Two separate worlds\" is my favorite
The title song , Big Red Truck is different than the others, and is a blues song with a driving (no pun intended) beat. Although it is apparently the most popular, for my money, Robbie\'s genius lies in her poetic ballads.
