Album Notes
Suzannah Doyle is a composer, performer and on-the-spot songwriter whose work appears in broadcast productions worldwide. She played by invitation at the White House in Washington, D.C., and appears live and on over 21 albums with a diverse array of performers in numerous genres. She is best known for her nuanced, flowing piano playing that combines a spacious emotionality, expansiveness and depth.

Rob Birdwell is a trumpet, flugelhorn, cornet and sax player, songriter and teacher who graduated from the Dick Grove School of music. He plays in and conducts numerous jazz and symphonic bands, and composes original and symphonic works, in addition to teaching music at Oregon State University and leading early bird jazz programs for middle school students. He is a well-appreciated guest conductor for the OSU symphony, conducting their appearances with jazz greats Chris Botti and Halie Loren, as well as for the wildly popular "Halloween with Harry Potter" concerts.

Together, in "O Holy Night," Rob and Suz have created a soothing sonic landscape the evokes the peaceful introspection of a wintry Christmas night.
