Album Notes
Chicago native Rob Dorn is known around the country for his clear tenor voice. In his highly anticipate holiday album, "Wonderland" Dorn takes his listeners on a trip back to the holiday sounds of the 1960's. With musicians, John Behling on guitar, Chris Michaelides on bass, and Phil Gratteau on drums, we are offered eleven of the best holiday songs ever written.

“I was inspired by Vince Guaraldi and 'The Charlie Brown Christmas’ album from the 1960’s. I paired that with my love for such singing greats as Vic Damone, Andy Williams and Nat King Cole.”

one of my favorites
I put this cd in on Nov. 1st every year. I just can't get enough of it. It's unlike anyother Christmas album I own. It's light and very fun with the 50's style guitar. I love it.

Perfect 1960's Styled Crooner/Jazz Singer With Jazz Trio Backup. My Favorite Jaz
This cd by ROB DORN is my favorite christmas 'jazz' recording as of this writing. It's just perfect. Very, very similar to VINCE GUARALDI (who recorded the classic 'Charlie Brown' christmas album back in the 1960's). But with the beautiful trio led jazz music that is so much like VINCE GUARALDI, you get the advantage of having such a wonderful crooner/jazz singer in ROB DORN. This man knows how to sing and with the beautiful 'trio' jazz music and the fabulous arrangements (which are usually upbeat), this is a high class christmas jazz recording that could become a classic if just enough people hear it and get a chance to buy it.
Every single song is great, nothing weak anywhere, and it would be a perfect christmas cd to entertain yourself and guests for the christmas season.
Out of over 200 christmas cd's I own, this is at the top of the pile and receives my fullest recommendation.

Rob Dorn Wonderland
You gotta love this album. I can almost see Schroeder at the piano and Snoopy dancing with Rob. Rob presents each song simply and gracefully. The songs are sung from the heart and,
Hey!, isn't that what Christmas is all about.
Bravo, Rob.
