ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These solo Blowing Zen pieces have come to Robert A. Jonas from his teachers, David Duncavage, Yodo Kurahashi, Ronnie Selden, Marco Lienhard and Riley Lee. In this tradition (Sui-Zen), Buddhist monks would play each piece as a meditation. Bringing awareness to the delicate and ephemeral nature of every out-breath and in-breath, the goal of this spiritual practice is to "become Buddha in one sound."
