Album Notes
Robert Aumann Band

When Rick (Hayes) and I (Bob Aumann) first discussed this CD I envisioned a “folksy” acoustic album. Rick had a vision of much more than a couple guitars and mandolin. So we added the rest of the band. I think you will find our sound is influenced by a lifetime of playing in a variety of genres - Our sound is a bit of folk rock with a bit of country blues. It is the perfect mesh of acoustic and electric. I think we have created an 'easy to listen to' sound. I believe we brought together some great talent and created memorable music.

The band:

Robert Aumann – Vocals, Rhythm guitar, Harmonica
Rick Hayes – Lead guitar, Mandolin, Bass, Drums
Courtney Reeves – Vocals
Bob Kennedy – Keyboards
Jim Aumann – Additional Harmony

Bob Aumann – Bob has been playing off and on since he was a kid and has passed through several genres including folk, bluegrass and acoustic rock.

Rick Hayes – Rick has been playing in bands professionally since he was a teenager. He too has pasted though many genres; rock, punk, country and bluegrass. This includes a few years of playing mandolin with the Gibson Brothers.

Bob Kennedy - Bob has been part of the Cincinnati music scene for over 30 years. His keyboard work shows his talent.

Courtney Reeves – Courtney has been singing her whole life. Most of her experience comes in the form of formal training singing in choirs. She currently accompanies herself on ukulele and piano.
