ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Big Day is a new invention in Progressive Rock - a variety designed for solo performance on keyboard, guitar and mandolin. Robert Bruce Scott is a classically trained tenor and has invented and mastered a method for playing several instruments simultaneously. All the songs on this album are designed for solo performance with no overdubbing and minimal automation.

The version of Kashmir is a 16-minute tribute to the "Unleaded" version recorded in the1990's by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant in concert with various orchestras.

I've Got Captain Jon Luc Picard's Head In A Box is a 9-minute romp through several canned Star Trek melodies with references to several series and also the Star Trek movies. Nerdgasm.

Nahan Khanye ye Dal is a traditional Persian folk song, sung in Farsi. Robert Bruce Scott's arrangement has won acclaim within Indianapolis music circles.

In addition to his solo work, Robert Bruce Scott is known around the American Mid-West as the lead singer and mandolinist for il Troubadore - Indy's 16th Century Rock Band, as keyboardist, lead guitarist and lead singer for DR JAR, and also for his work presenting the Music of Simon & Garfunkel with Joel Conner (Robert sings the Garfunkel parts).
