Robert Curiel, Born in The Netherlands. He has a Surinam mother and a Curacaoan father. He started out as a drummer in 1983 and was strongly influenced and inspired by drummer Sly Dunbar and producers like Adrian Sherwood, Scientist and Lee "Scratch"Perry. Mid 1980's he started playing other instruments like bass, guitar and keyboards. Enabeling him to create his own music. In 1999 he founded The Dubcellar recording studio amsterdam, wich enabeled him to create, record and mix his own music. Have a listen and feel the influences of the older ones.

“The Very Last Dub” is actually made out of 8 bars of a song called “The Very Last Tango” by *The Invisibles a new and upcoming Dutch/Italian Rock Steady/ Ska band. The 8 bars are pasted together and dubbed the old fashioned way.
