ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Don’t Stop Believing is a great album from Robert who is strong in his culture. The drumbeats of the opening track, Kunju Weri gets you in immediately. I love this track; it is funky with tribal beats, and true to his heritage, Robert’s opening track is sung in the Kungarakan language. This album is a great listen; it’s gritty, honest, funky and bluesy. The title track, Don’t Stop Believing with its reggae beat provides a change of pace and sends a strong cultural message of not expecting anyone to compromise his or her life. This album is a quality production of life in the Top End by someone who knows it and lives. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fusion of sounds and languages. Robert is a great communicator and he has nailed it with this album. Written by Kate Smith
