Slow Motion

by Robert Schroeder

A mixture of ambient, chill, easy listening and effectful EM. Spherical atmospheres let you dream and flow around, swirling and hypnotic sequencer in the analogue sound of the 80 merged with Schroeder-typical timeless harmonic synthesizer melodies.

Album Notes
S L O W M O T I O N - The music to lower the speed of life.

Schroeder - naturally as always:
spherical, harmonic, dreamy, exciting and relaxing.

Track one SlowMo and track two The Inside Of My Soul merge into one another, resulting in a very varied long track from almost 24 minutes brings to light and makes curiosity for the rest of the CD. And also worth continue. In addition SlowMo was also produced as a 3D animation showing a stunning flight through an electronic circuit board (available on YouTube under SlowMo).

Slow Motion is a mixture of ambient, chill, easy listening and effectful EM. Spherical atmospheres let you dream and flow around, swirling and hypnotic sequencer in the popular analogue sound of the 80 merge with Schroeder-typical timeless harmonic synthesizer melodies and bring a sense of light-heartedness and utter freedom. Slow motion one may also like to see as far haven to slow something down the hectic pace of life today.

The German Electronics artist Robert Schroeder (discovered 1978 by EM pioneer Klaus Schulze) has produced numerous excellent solo CDs as well as his success album Double Fantasy / Universal Ave., which reached the US Charts in the end of the 80s. The music of Robert Schroeder is various, but always soulful. He combines spherical synthesizer sounds with modern rhythm-mical contrasts, often supplemented by spacey guitars and sometimes also by piano, cello or voices. Schroeder's music spectrum includes Electronic, Ambient, Chill-Out, Lounge, Adventure and Trip-Hop. Electronic Music in the widest sense is the musical style of this artist who has his roots in the music of Klaus Schulze, Can and Pink Floyd.
