Album Notes
Robin Anita White has been a professional singer for over forty years. Originally from Montgomery County, MD, she is best known for her ability to sing a variety of different musical styles. Her repertoire includes Gospel, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Reggae, Rock, and a dash of country numbers for good measure.

Ms. White started singing in grade school. By junior high school, she was the lead vocalist in her first band and was entertaining at teen dances, birthday parties, cabarets, and other social events. By high school, she was a member of the school’s Glee Club and was singing in a local Baptist Church Junior Choir.

In the years since, Ms. White has sung at numerous weddings, retirement parties, anniversary parties, holiday parties, and funerals. She has been a member of several different gospel groups. She eventually began writing her own material. It was her interest in creating original music that inspired her to travel to Los Angeles in the late seventies. She focused her attention on learning about the recording business through an affiliation with Motown Studios. It was there that she met several celebrities and danced on Soul Train for four shows.

Upon her return to Maryland in the early nineties, Ms. White joined a band of mutual friends and sang at a variety of venues on Montgomery County’s social circuit. She recorded a collection of six original songs at Crazy Horse Studios in 2009. In 2010 Ms. White became acquainted with Ernie Fields and performed as one of his singers and even played a part in a movie trailer that Mr. Fields produced.

Ms. White has recently recorded new original material at Mindsongs Musique Studio in Brookeville, MD.
