ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Robin Brennan combines the bluesy vocals of Bonnie Raitt, story songs of Carole King, and the humor and pure, true tones of Cyndi Lauper.
Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, daughter of a Navy trumpet player, this singer-songwriter grew up with music as the constant theme in an ever-changing landscape of country wheatfields and concrete city life.
Her debut CD, "Last Diary of a Torch Singer," gives birth to an accumulation of life experiences -- reflected in the fullness of both light and darkness. Her music explodes with earthy sexuality, playful impish teasingl, and honest soul searching.
