Yoga Nidra for anyone needing support to soothe and quiet the nervous system
Although this yoga nidra was originally created to use as part of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) study helping women with the changes of menopause, its implications are much larger than one group. This CD is a gift of self-care for anyone dealing with nervous system irritation due to stress, anxiety, chronic pain or any chronic illness. The benefits come from the calming, soothing language, imagery and music that is part of the nidras. The other really nice part of this duo of nidras is that they are both very functional: each is 20 minutes long, making them easy to fit in as a much needed break in this busy, hurried-up world in which we live.
