ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SLOW BUT STEADY- New Orleans native saxophonist, educator, arranger, composer, motivational speaker RODERICK PAULIN blazes a musical trail in this 2-CD set of tunes touching contemporary jazz, New Orleans traditional jazz, and classic jazz standards. This project is the culmination of a 15-year journey for Paulin which features 36 great musicians from and around the New Orleans area. Paulin single-handedly financed this massive project while being employed during the day as an AT&T Technician and performing gigs at night. He began recording in 2002 and he showcases the immense talent of all the musicians on this 24-track musical story ranging in configurations of an intimate duo to 19-piece orchestra.
