ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The "Eyes Haven't Seen/Ears Haven't Heard" EP is a return to classic smooth jazz with the trumpet leading the way! Rodney Block, trumpeter, who was voted 2016 Arkansas "Best Of"-Best Band/Musician, features groove oriented trumpet and sax solos, electric bass driven lines and R&B influenced vocals. The "in this moment...I think of you" track is very reminiscent of Miles Davis and John Coltrane's traditional jazz work compared to the hip hop laced "roger & the cool kids" tune which features vocals and rap. The perfect album for Sunday drives or relaxing and grooving at home. This work truly appeals to the various preferences under the umbrella of Jazz.
