ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is my second CD, although the music was recorded before the live session at the Blue Wisp for the first CD. Shortly after I retired from the Army in 1990, I hooked up with gifted string bassist Mike Sharfe and we spent some time playing together for fun. After a few sessions Mike suggested we record it so we borrowed a DAT recorder and stereo microphone and went into (Lou) Laushe's Recording Studio in Cincinnati and laid down all of the tracks in one night. I held onto the master tapes for a few years but recently decided to digitize them, cleaned them up a bit with today's modern computer technologies, and put them on a CD. The playing here is certainly spontaneous and hopefully you will find it as exciting to listen to as I did to play it.

... some sweet straight-ahead picking - definitely worth the price
I received Bob's CD (Second Chance) this weekend, I've listened to it at least 10 times already - beautiful playing! Two guys (guitar and bass), no effects, a DAT recorder, some nice tunes, and some sweet straight-ahead picking - definitely worth the price of admission!
