Album Notes
This CD is my first born. With most of these songs written while I was a teenager, I finally got the chance to record these songs professionally using the best musicians in Los Angeles after experiencing some success in writing music for Television. Once I received my first royalty check, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and this album was the result.

This music is meant for relaxing with your honey, driving in your car, or playing as background music during a special dinner.

There are no shredding solos, though plenty of very musical solos. The most amazing part of the CD is listening to Abe play bass on Savanah. I had no idea what he was doing the first time I heard it. I fell in love with his playing so much that after recording this CD I went out and bought a bass similar to what Abe was playing on the record and have used him as a role model for playing bass ever since. I still don't come close to being able to do what Abe does though......When he played that bass part, I remember thinking this must be what it is like to go to Brazil and taste coffee that is different from anything you have ever tasted. Mind blowing at first, but it opens you up to an entire new world. That was a moment that made making the entire record worth it.

These songs are dear to my heart, and though I have written many since these, in many other styles and genre's, this music still holds up for me because of it's honesty. I made exactly the record I wanted to make. Since then my musical "sense" certainly has broadened, but I still feel the honesty in this music.

This is a melodic instrumental recording, in the spirit of John Klemmer's "Touch", or Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Wave". I play saxophone and the Yamaha WX7 for the melodies, and programmed the keys, bass & percussion. Many of the parts were eventually replaced by masterfull musicians such as Abe Laboriel, Peter Sprauge, Brian Kilgore, Erik Hanson, Michale Becker & Dave Scott. I have lost touch with Erik. Erik, if you are out there somewhere, I would love to hear from you. I miss you.

There is one vocal track on the CD "Walter's Song" - this is a bit of a departure from the rest of the recording, more in the spirit of Malcom Mclaren's "FANS". This is a must hear, dedicated to my dear long time friend Walter.

This CD has held up well over time. It was released for a while in Italy and I still have some of the European releases which I am selling here. It don't know if these will become collectors items one day, but I do know this is some good music worth listening to.
