Album Notes
welcome to the symphony of my mind. an eclectic mix of compositions that have been kicking around in computer for years. even one recorded on a fostex 8 track. some have been purpose written, some for the pure joy of creating and some from trying out new instruments i've brought home. a word of caution …. this is not a bass shred album.
more a soundscape chill out cd.
hey you can still get up and dance if you wanna.
I wanted to take you on a musical journey reflecting the sights & sounds & music i've experienced so far on this plant, at the same time allowing myself total freedom in the recording/mixing process.
as a kid i loved listening to album cuts where musicians jammed out over a long fade out, now was the time to have fun and explore your instrument ……. I have basically played every instrument lying around the house except for musicians credited on various tracks.
recorded & mixed on my iMac with Logic 9. no fancy preamps or amps, i just plugged all the guitars/basses straight in the audio interface and started recording. for all you gear dudes i'll list the instruments used on various tracks. sit back and enjoy the ride.
