ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Romain Bigeard started playing the guitar at age 16 inspired by guitar greats such as Jimi Hendrix and Joe Satriani as well as bands such as U2 and The Cure.

He has played over the years with various cover and original bands around Besançon, in Eastern France. He then moved to Dublin, Ireland and Paris, France where he built up home studio recording skills, and today he lives in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was also a regular contributor to French magazines Keyboards and Soundkeys from 1994 to 2003.

In early 2010, he started a blog focused on guitar tone. At the same time, he composed, recorded and mixed this album in his houseboat in Amsterdam.

The songs are inspired by his guitar tone research as well as all his influences: 60s psychedlic rock, 70s progressive rock, 80s new wave and instrumental heavy rock as well as blues from all ages.
