Album Notes
– Liner Notes –
I give you 'Timeless' as a soothing antidote to your heart and soul, a polished trigger to daydreaming, putting the mundane worries to one side. I am a Romantic, charmed by the sensitivity of delicate sounds and loving words, and very passionate about languages. A man who fills the present with contentment from the past while painting a colourful horizon. And this album came about under similar philosophy. A longing to create music that communicates the intangible to the soul, a touch that you will feel when you savour each note and each word, even if in a language unknown to you. A feeling of diving into moments of tranquility during the turbulent crises the world has been going through, bringing freshness to the emotions and repose.

I believe that Music, Language, and Culture are intrinsically connected, Music being a universal element, the bond that unites us all. And you have reminded me of this on several occasions when you expressed your ability to understand me and my music even when you did not understand the language I was singing in. Yet, with 'Timeless', I go a step further in trying to get a little closer to you by singing in three other languages, namely, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

'Timeless' brings you a piece of my heart and soul, my self-indulgence in trying to touch you the same way these songs have touched me. These are songs of today, yesterday, and tomorrow. I open with 'It's Impossible', a true vow of eternal commitment to love, which is further expressed in my own composition 'It's Not Over', a reminder that old memories of love can be more alive than we think. Next, I bring you the morning and the sun, along with the happiness of a new dawn with 'La Chanson D'Orphée'. I then cut deep into the soul of love with 'Te Llevo Bajo Mi Piel'. I close by reprising the morning sun, as I perform the original version of 'Manhã De Carnaval' for you.

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a team of superb musicians from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, thanks to my manager Niel Grant. All Arrangements and Guitar work are by Dino Rangel, the man who put this terrific band together to accompany me, with Guto Wirtti and Ney Conceição on Double Bass, and Marcio Bahia on Drums. Listening to them is a great pleasure.

I hope you enjoy the music, for here I sing directly and especially to you. Thank you very much.
