ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"What's a Lemon Mountain Manatee?" you ask. Well, the Lemon Mountain Manatee (LMM) is an extinct species of land-dwelling manatee that lived deep in the mountains of West Virginia during the Plasticine Period following The Great Flood. The LMM subsisted primarily on a diet rich in citrus fruits (such as lemons), but since there are few citrus fruits in WV, the LMM eventually died off.

Ted W. Mills of Egeria was the last known human to see a living LMM. In 1974, Teddy discovered a wounded LMM in Beaver, WV; floundering in a creek behind a strip joint known as the Starlite Inn. Ted enlisted his companion, Ron Brunk, to help him hoist the large creature into the back seat of Ted's 1954 Dodge Royal.

Ted named his new friend Tantie, and for several years, he cared for his Lemon Mountain Manatee as a mother would care for her only child. Sadly, Ted was killed by a single gunshot wound to the chest in 1980. Accompanied by Ron Brunk, Tantie attended Ted’s burial service, and refused to leave the graveside. Within days, Tantie expired of a broken heart.

LOVE BOMB is an fun, upbeat album full of love and positive energy. Love Bomb will help you conquer this dark world of trouble with a musical blend of late 60's flower-child vibes, ragtime fun, Americana atmosphere, rockabilly attitude, disco grooves and beautiful love songs. This record covers almost as much ground as the Beatles' White Album.
